Ms. Karen Higgins is Part-Time Faculty in Teacher Education at the College of Education and Health Professions at Columbus State University (CSU). Her educational background include a Specialist in Education Program, a Master of Education in Special Education with a Major in Behavior Disorders and a Bachelor of Science in Education with a Major in Special Education - Behavior Disorders. Ms. Higgins has extensive experience in teaching students in middle and high school grades, and she was an Executive Director of an Information Technology Department for the Muscogee County School District. Ms. Higgins has been Part-Time Faculty in Teacher Education at Columbus State University since 2015. Her areas of expertise are special education - behavior disorders and technology in education.
