Specialty AreaI am an Assistant Professor of Elementary Education in the Department of Teacher Education, Leadership, & Counseling. I teach undergraduate and graduate courses in elementary education, science and STEM teaching methods, and online teaching/digital technologies. My areas of expertise and research include (critical) digital pedagogy, digital technologies, and elementary education. I am also the STEM Teaching P-12 Endorsement Coordinator for the TLC Department.
BiographyI served as an elementary classroom teacher in the Illinois public schools for 11 years and worked as an adjunct professor at Illinois State University for three years. I joined the faculty at Columbus State on a part time basis in Summer 2020 and full time beginning in Fall 2020.
